Solder paste printing
AVLE Soldering License Module 8:
Process training in machine solder paste printing in accordance with guideline AVLE1511. Combined theoretical and practical knowledge, with a focus on practical application.
Knowledge imparted module 8:
- Principle of solder paste printing
- Influencing variables and parameters of the printer
- Solder paste types/grain sizes and corresponding printing behavior
- Squeegee systems
- Stencil cleaning
- Dispensing systems for adhesive dots and/or additional solder paste
- Systems to support the assemblies during the printing process
- Process parameters and their effect on the print result
- Error patterns and causes of printing errors and resulting subsequent errors
- Fiducial setup and offset compensation
- Rules for the layout of print stencils
- Procedure for setting up a new product
Includes:
- Printed personal training documents
- Examination documents
- AVLE qualification certificate module 8 after passing the final theory exam
- AVLE Soldering License or entry of the completed module
Entry requirements:
Basic knowledge of industrial electronics production is recommended.
Note:
This module is usually offered by the training centers in combination with module 7 (reflow soldering) due to the close process-related connection. Please note the dates in the AVLE training calendar!
