Recertification Module 4

In accordance with guideline AVLE1510, the qualification certificates for AVLE modules 1-4 expire three years after completion of the examination. In order to extend the validity for a further three years, the certificate holders must prove their skills again through recertification. This measure means that the AVLE training courses also meet the requirements of auditors, especially in the case of verification requirements in the area of sensitive assemblies.

An extension of the validity of Module 4 can only be achieved through recertification.

The renewal examination must be completed no later than 90 days after the expiration date. In this case, the three-year extension always refers to the original expiration date. After this period, the qualification certificate expires permanently and must be reacquired. It is also possible to recertify up to 90 days before the expiry date. If recertification takes place more than 90 days before expiry, the examination date is used as the starting point for the new expiration date.

The recertification of module 4 is carried out in accordance with guideline AVLE1510 in a one-day course consisting of theoretical and practical preparation with a final theoretical examination.

Day 1 – Preparation and examination:

  • Repetition of important points and updating of know-how
  • Practical demonstrations, if required
  • Up-to-date documentation on the module to be recertified
  • Theory test according to AVLE1520 guideline

Dates and fees can be found in the training calendar.
