Who is the AVLE?
AVLE – Ausbildungsverbund Löttechnik Elektronik (Training association for soldering technology electronics)
The AVLE is an association of companies from electronics production, machine and equipment manufacturers and research & development with the aim of improving the quality, reliability and reproducibility of solder joints in electronics. High-quality training materials, professionally equipped training centers and qualified trainers from the field provide each participant with important background knowledge in close connection with practical manual skills. The standardized training modules each last two to three days, are self-contained and build on each other. Each module is entered in the participant's personal soldering license after successful completion of the examination. This means that employers always have an overview of the qualifications of their employees or applicants.
The AVLE was founded by the German companies RAFI, Hannusch, Zollner and Ersa. Since 2019, the Fraunhofer EMFT with its Center for Interconnection Technology in Electronics ZVE has strengthened the AVLE training facilities as a licensee.
The soldering training courses are tailored to today's requirements in electronics production and are constantly adapted to current developments. Relevant standards, such as IPC-A-610, are the basis for evaluating the soldering results.
The AVLE training facilities and dates can be found on this website in the training dates section.
